Day in the Life of an Entrepreneur

Spend a Monday with me as an entrepreneur and freelancer 💕

If I think about this year compared to last, when I was employed full-time at a digital marketing agency, I realize that there are different types of stress in both lifestyles.

Last year, there was a lot of stress of being in a toxic environment, even though I was financially less stressed because I had a steady paycheck.

This year, the stress comes from not having a steady paycheck and worrying about paying my bills. For some people, the stress of not knowing how you’re going to pay your bills is not worth the freedom and flexibility you get with entrepreneur life, and I completely understand that.

But if I think about it, I’m so much happier this year. Having the flexibility to spend time with my AmStaff mix Kono, to work on my small business, @shopkonos, to go out to lunch with friends in the middle of the week, to pursue my passion of content creation….it’s priceless.

So I’m leaning into it. I thrive when my back is against the wall and I need to figure out what to do, which I have. But damn, I really don’t know that I could give up this lifestyle.

And maybe I don’t have to.

I love peeking behind the scenes and seeing what people do throughout their day, so here’s a sneak peek into my schedule for a Monday vlog I filmed recently:

7am: Walk Kono.

8am: Breakfast – avocado toast and a homemade decaf oat latte while I caught up on some reading.

9:15am: Spin class.

10:30am: Work on leashes for KONOS.

11am: Freelance work.

12pm: Lunch – a Trader Joe’s salad with avocado added in.

1pm: Dog walking gig.

2pm: Get a massage.

3pm-5pm: More freelance work.

6pm: Dinner with a friend.
